A long wait for the wrong chair! ordered and paid for a green…
I ordered and paid for a green Belvedere basket chair on 24th August. On 23rd September, I received an email saying it was now expected on 28th November. A chair was eventually despatched to me on 6th December and arrived... wrong colour of chair!!!!!
The most annoying part of the whole process were the four follow-up phone-calls! Two of the people I spoke to from customer 'service'(???!) didn't even attempt to sound apologetic - one of them was singing to herself as she was supposedly checking if the correct colour of chair was in their warehouse!!!!
I eventually received the correct chair on 17th December. The only 'saving grace' in this review is the basket chair which eventually arrived is a nice piece of furniture!
Nice things but unreliable and inefficient.
At the start of December I ordered an item of jewellery as a Xmas present for my wife. I was quoted 7 - 10 days for delivery, but nothing arrived. I rang them and was told the item was out of stock and no more were being ordered and someone had neglected to remove the item from their website!! Something similar occurred 3 years ago, Very disappointing and unprofessional. Goodbye Museum Selection, there are many more competent and trustworthy suppliers than you out there.

I ordered on 23rd November, two small paperback books. £9.99 each + delivery. These were sent by the normal Royal Mail & posted on 9th December, arrived on 11th. They were packed into a cardboard box capable of holding a dozen of these books. There was numerous promotional brochures etc weighing more the books also in the box.
Why did it take over a fortnight to dispatch them?
Given the Royal Mail charge postage based on weight & size, which the “junk mail” was at least equal in weight to the books.
Why had I to pay for the unwanted & mostly irrelevant information as a large part of the delivery charge?
Given the long wait to receive the books, why are you making offers & a voucher for Christmas when the time to order & receive by Christmas is to tight or too late?
The books are too late to hand over to the relatives they were meant to go to. I’ll have to post them on & hope they arrive in time.
Given the above, why would you expect me to be a future customer?

Biscuit tins dented, rest of order fine.
Two of the time for tea biscuit tins arrived dented. Well packaged so it's unlikely that the damage happened in transit - more likely they were sent out with dents on. The two other tins, the glass Christmas tree decorations and the tea towels arrived safely and are all beautiful. Would still buy again from this website as the products are really lovely and are good quality.
Ordered two items on 23rd Nov
Ordered two items on 23rd Nov, it is now 9th Dec and the customer service team have advised that the items have yet to be despatched (one item is an advent calendar!). The statement on their website says delivery in 7-10 days, but SHOULD according to the C/S team be "working "days and they are STILL to update it. Brexit or just lack of staff? Either way this will make me think twice about ordering from them again. Poorest service this year.

Attitude needs to improve
Had to pay extra for my order to arrive on time. I find the staff slovenly and totally disinterested. When my items did arrive I was very disappointed.The Christmas cards bar a few were awful so didn’t bother to use them and the Christmas wrapping paper dull and boring,the tags had no way of being secured to a parcel without having to punch a hole in each one in order to tie them to a parcel. I thought it very expensive for what I received. I gave 3 stars as the quality of the wrapping was good albeit uninteresting and boring. They’re not as good as they use to be and that makes them expensive,they also need to change their attitude and show some enthusiasm and care towards customer.

Excellent collect and refund process
I ordered the Deco Tile Bistro Table. When it arrived it was the wrong colour and not in great condition.
Claire Tinnion and her customer service team were fabulous. They checked out the stock and hadn't got a replacement. They apologised and organised a swift collection of my bistro table and an effective refund.
Given them 5 stars as I assess a company on how they respond when things go wrong; and Museum Selction were excellent
A 10 week wait…
On the 28th March I ordered and paid for a pair of Victorian Obelisks for my sister's birthday at the end of April. I have been very patient but 10 weeks later have still not received them. Whilst the company, which is citing Covid 19 for the delays, has updated me with possible dates for delivery, all of these have come and gone with no obelisks in sight! I have been given the option of a refund along with pending delivery dates but I actually want the gift that I ordered and feel it is time for them to either produce the goods or tell me that they are unavailable and refund my money. I have also noticed that the same obelisks are still being advertised in the latest catalogue. Given the unacceptable delivery delay surely this item should be withdrawn to save any further unsuspecting customers placing an order for a beautiful obelisk to grace their summer garden that probably won't arrive until winter.

Never again
I bought a gift for my grandmother a few months ago and ever since then I've started receiving insane ammounts of spam mail in the post, countless catolagues from sketchy companies and charity cheques already filled out with my personal details. As there is nothing I can do to stop it I thought I would warn others.
(I know this company is to blame because I made a typo in the spelling of my name when I ordered from them which is present on all this junk)

Great items, fantastic service, timely delivery and well packaged.
I baught a set of glass watering globes, they arrived very well packaged and look even better than I was expecting. Work very well and all in all a very happy buying experience and would higy recommend shopping with this company.
